Important Dates for the 2028–2029 Mission

Mission dates are December 14, 2028 – January 3, 2029. Registration opens October 1, 2026, and all volunteer balances must be paid in full by June 30, 2028.

All balances must be paid in full so tickets, hotels, transportation, shirts, ID badges, and supplies can be secured.

Flexible Payment Plans

Accepted volunteers follow a four-part payment schedule designed to keep the mission accessible: a registration deposit due December 31, 2027, a first 25% payment due February 28, 2028, a second 25% payment due April 30, 2028, and the final balance due June 30, 2028. Deposit amounts are $500 for a single volunteer, $1,000 for a married couple, and $250 for each child. Final costs are confirmed before travel commitments are made.

Important notice

Mission participation contributions are estimates and may change based on airfare, hotel rates, transportation costs, exchange rates, and mission operating expenses. Accepted participants will receive a detailed participation agreement outlining included services, payment schedules, cancellation terms, and fundraising policies before any final payment is due.

What may not be included

Personal spending, passport expenses, vaccinations, personal medications, baggage fees beyond the group allowance, optional activities, and travel insurance upgrades may not be included unless specifically stated in the final participant agreement.

The estimated volunteer mission contribution is $5,995 per participant. Final costs may change based on airfare, lodging, transportation, group size, exchange rates, security requirements, and local operating conditions. UnityReach Global will provide confirmed participants with a final cost breakdown and payment schedule before travel commitments are made.
