Accessibility Statement
Everyone should be able to learn about our mission, volunteer, and give without barriers.
1. Our commitment
UnityReach Global is committed to making this website usable by people of all abilities, and to welcoming people of all abilities into our programs.
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical standard.
2. What we have built in
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and page titles so screen readers can navigate each page.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and labels for icon-only controls.
- Keyboard access to navigation, forms, and dialogs, with visible focus indicators.
- Color combinations chosen for contrast, with meaning never conveyed by color alone.
- Responsive layouts that work on phones, tablets, and desktops, and support browser zoom.
- Content offered in English, French, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
3. Known limitations
Some third-party components, such as the payment checkout and embedded media, are provided by outside services and may not fully meet our standard. We are working with these providers and will offer assistance by phone or email in the meantime.
Documents added to the media kit and transparency pages are reviewed for readable structure as they are published.
4. Accessibility on the mission field
Volunteers with mobility, medical, dietary, or other accommodation needs are encouraged to tell us during the application process so we can plan appropriate roles, lodging, and transportation.
5. Report a barrier or request assistance
If any part of this site or our programs is difficult to use, contact info@unityreachglobal.org or 954-554-0525. Please describe the page and what happened, and we will respond and help you complete what you were trying to do.
6. Ongoing review
Accessibility is reviewed as new pages and features are released, and this statement is updated as improvements are made.
UnityReach Global is a humanitarian and evangelistic initiative of Sapibon Foundation, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
