The Education Director leads all educational initiatives of UnityReach Global, with a focus on improving access to quality education for children and supporting lifelong learning within the communities served.

The department oversees the 100 Children Education Initiative, school tuition sponsorships, school supply distribution, literacy programs, teacher support, educational workshops, scholarships, and partnerships with schools, universities, and educational organizations.

The Education Director works closely with the Mission Director, Volunteer Director, Community Outreach Director, and local education leaders to ensure that all education programs are sustainable, culturally appropriate, and impactful.

Core Responsibilities

  • Before the Mission
  • Establish partnerships with schools and education officials
  • Identify students eligible for tuition assistance
  • Recruit volunteer teachers and education specialists
  • Collect and organize school supplies and educational materials
  • Develop teacher training sessions and educational workshops
  • During the Mission
  • Distribute school supplies and backpacks
  • Conduct educational workshops for children, youth, parents, and teachers
  • Confirm enrollment and tuition sponsorship for selected students
  • Support literacy programs and classroom activities
  • Meet with local schools to assess future needs
  • After the Mission
  • Monitor tuition recipients throughout the academic year
  • Maintain communication with partner schools
  • Provide sponsors with student progress updates
  • Evaluate educational outcomes and program impact
  • Develop recommendations for expanding education initiatives in future missions
  • This structure creates an Education Department of approximately 55–70 staff members and volunteers, capable of managing the 100 Children Education Initiative, school partnerships, teacher support, literacy programs, educational workshops, and long-term educational development while supporting UnityReach Global's broader humanitarian mission
